A brief piece of background before I start, and you'll see my plight. Last night I was stopping at my girlfriends and when I was getting my things together, I couldn't find my bigger memory card anywhere. I considered getting a new one, but looking around town I couldn't find anywhere open that sold Compact Flash (that was because it was around 7pm though, and all I had to look through were a couple of supermarkets). This is my first entry and since I didn't know I was going to set this up I didn't take any notes, so things may be missed out and times may not be accurate - yet I'll do my best to give a flavour of what's to come:

Welcome all,

I will be blogging my zoo visits from now on for anybody that may be interested to read :). I'll also be compiling a list of all the species and subspecies I have seen. So, my next zoo visit is to Chester on the 9th April for Member's Day, so hopefully will have my first actual post written on the 10th or the 11th April. In the meantime I will make a start on my life-lists, which is a long task in itself.

Until then, I wish everybody well and I hope to have my first post up soon (I may start with a report on my last visit to Chester, since it was an interesting day that certainly had some highlights).
